SmartBox Computer Lab / Digital Library arrives!

In early February, the team from Innovative Education International (IEI) delivered the SmartBox to Light of the World Academy.  The SmartBox is an integrated Computer Lab, Digital Library and curriculum that works. 

How well does it work?  In Liberia, a passing grade on the WASSCE exam is required to graduate from high school. Neighboring Sinoe County was 11th out of the 15 counties in Liberia for passing the high school graduation exam in 2014.  In 2015, they implemented the SmartBox in 11 of 14 schools and in 2017 Sinoe County had the highest passing rate in Liberia.  

The SmartBox delivered to Light of the World Academy is the first in their county (Montserrado). There were representatives from other schools that also participated in the training and brought news back to their schools.
