The Church’s One Foundation – and it Looks Like it Will Last

First the foundation was staked with strings indicating where the foundation would be located. Then several guys (with young backs) removed the dirt so the concrete block footings could be constructed. As the plan below shows, there are “squares of footings” across the foundation with compacted dirt in each square.  Each shovel of dirt moved by hand; each concrete block of the foundation was individually formed on site.  Amazing process!
